Section 33 rudder & brake systems

Section 33 rudder and brake systems was completed today. I think I saved quite some work with pre-fabricated brake lines from Aircraft Speciality, but the parking brake system added some extra effort. 

The result!

Trial fit of the parking brake valve bracket.

The Matco brake valve on top of the bracket. Later
I also included an extension to hold the control cable.

I needed a angle drill to upsize the routing holes in the
seating ribs. 

More challenging with the holes through the center
section bulkhead. I just taped the step drill to my
extended back rivet sets.

 

This is the completed parking brake valve mounted on
the bracket.
