Baggage area, brake and rudder system

The baggage area is now complete, except that I've postponed riveting the 4 side plates because I need more insulation and that I'll create attachment for oxygen on the left side.

So I've started on section 33 Rudder and Brake System. I'm going to paint the interior, so I'll not mount anything in the fuselage until that is done. But there are plenty of thing to do in parts fabrication for both section 33 and the following sections (34 Flap Actuation System, 35 Upper fwd fuselage, 36 Aileron and Elevator system).

I have got interior leather samples from Lemke Autosattlerei & Möbelpolsterei, and are awaiting a few more. The interiors color I've selected is Dawn Patrol Gray from Stewart Systems. But I don't feel I a have found a matching leather.

Before the flap motor channel.

This is the flap motor channel.

I've put insulation in between the ribs. It's the 1" Super Sound Proofing. It's to thick to
stay in the middle channel because the elevator push rod. My intention was not
to use as thick as 1", but that was what Aircraft Spruce had in stock at
time of order. I need some more and, will use 1/2" doe the remaining areas.

Section 33 Rudder and Brakes system

This section includes both brakes and rudder. I've bought pre-fabrictaed brake lines from Aircraft Speciality. See this link. I will also install a valve for parking brake.

A part of this section is to attach the rudder cable. Unfortunately I discovered that I had installed it the wrong way. The smallest/thinnest cable eye was supposed to be in the front.

The brake pedals. They are all primed by now, and ready for final paint. I've not
decided for color yet.
